Mickey Boardman
Mickey Boardman is Deputy Editorial Director of Paper Magazine. His writing has appeared in GQ, NY Times Magazine, Out and German Vogue. He's appeared as a cultural commentator on VH-1, Fox News, A & E, E!, Style Channel, WE and local New York channels. He is a graduate of Purdue University and an almost graduate of Parsons School of Design. www.papermag.com

David Carson
Presenting: Award for Original Design Approach
David Carson is a creative director and designer at R/GA (Robert Grennberg and Associates) and also principal of David Carson Design New York City. He has a B.A. degree in Sociology. London-based Creative Review magazine proclaimed Carson Art Director of the Era and calls his work on Ray Gun magazine "the most important work coming out of America". His art direction and graphic design for Beach Culture magazine has won over 150 awards, including Best Overall Design and Cover of the Year from Society of Publication Designers in New York. Carsons book, The End of Print (with a preface by David Byrne), is now in its fifth printing and has sold over 125,000 copies worldwide, making it the biggest-selling design book of all time. www.davidcarsondesign.com

Milton Glaser
Milton Glaser (b.1929) is among the most celebrated graphic designers in the United States. He has had the distinction of one-man-shows at the Museum of Modern Art and the Georges Pompidou Center. In 2004 he was selected for the lifetime achievement award of the Cooper Hewitt National Design Museum. As a Fulbright scholar, Glaser studied with the painter Giorgio Morandi in Bologna, and is an articulate spokesman for the ethical practice of design. Todd Oldham
Presenting: Award for Creativity
Distinguished as an innovator of accessible design, Todd Oldham is the founder of Todd Oldham Studio, a multifaceted, full-service design studio located in New York City. The inspiration for Todd Oldham Studio's designs comes from a celebration of everyday materials and tasks combined with a reverence for sophisticated, refined objects. Todd has made numerous appearances on NBC's Today and MTV's House of Style and Crib Crashers. This Fall, he was the host and creator of Todd Oldham's Handmade Modern on HGTV. Current projects include the Todd Oldham by La-Z-Boy home furnishings collection. Karim Rashid
Karim Rashid is a leading figure in the fields of product and interior design, fashion, furniture, lighting and art. Born in Cairo, half Egyptian, half English, and raised in Canada, Karim now practices in New York. He is best known for bringing his democratic design sensibility to the masses. Designing for an impressive array of clients, Karim is radically changing the aesthetics of product design and the very nature of the consumer culture. To date he has had some 2000 objects put into production and has successfully entered the realm of architecture and interiors as evidenced by the design of the Morimoto restaurant in Philadelphia and Semiramis hotel in Athens which just won a Sleep05 European Hotel Design Award.
